Good Omens Fic #2: Short'n'Sweet C/A Slash

My only qualm with this fic is that it's too damn short. It's very well written, and the voices/characters are down /pat/. I've read and re-read it about a hundred times because it's so sweet...and a bit sappy. But I love sappy, so that's good.

Grade: Good. I didn't wander down hallways, but I do thoroughly enjoy this fic.

About Us

Welcome to The *A~N~A* Does Fanfiction, run by Janners and Kana. We were bored, so we created it. This site is based off the brilliance that is The Burning Dumpster, albeit with a few changes. The Dumpster does mostly PBEM/RPG profiles, and usually only Matrix Fanfics. We will be reviewing only Fanfics, from various fandoms. We will not be doing PBEM/RPG profiles, because while Janners is a part of that world (ie, the gamer world) Kana is not, though she enjoys watching Janners play Fable. Besides, we never get any stupid profiles, so why bother? As well, the Dumpster is dedicated to burning badfics/profiles. We will focus on the positive: giving good reviews to good fics, except when Janners snaps after reading one too many Mary Sues or bad slash or whatever and just has to nuke one. Or five. From time to time we will also post fanfic that we have written that The Pit of Voles will not allow or has kicked off or whatever. Comments from all and sundry are welcome, and we will not delete them, because even if they are offensive and stupid, they are entertaining. Go ahead and flame us--we'll only mock you.

The Grading System

We changed it! Because Kana said so. Now it's simple. For all involved. We may change it again, if Mercury is in auspicious conjunction with Quaeor, the 10th planet. Or maybe we'll change it if Janners feels the urge to do something without much content. Or maybe, just to keep you on your toes, we'll change it every so often, on no particular schedule at all.

*Note* The last two grades on the list are based off the events in The Demented Cartoon Movie, a very serious film that takes a pointed look at the state of affairs in the world today and just what it is that we, as humans, are striving for. Please go watch the film, and you will understand.

Wonderful This is for spectacular fics that we have to electrically shock ourselves to rate because every time we read them we get lost in them again.

Good Reserved for those we liked a lot, but which were easy to review because we didn't get lost wandering down alleyways and corridors of Slash Fantasies and Possibility. Janners added this one because she felt we needed a midpoint between Mediocre and Wonderful. There are shades of gray. [booyah]

Mediocre These fics have potential, but they need work before we'll read 'em again. If your fic gets this grade, go and revise it OR BE EATEN BY THE WORM FROM HELL.

Fucking Sad Take a guess.

Blah This grade means Janners said 'Blah' and the fic exploded. It's equivalent to the Burn grade on the Dumpster. These are badbadbadbadfics. They must burn in the fires of the Dumpster for ever and ever and ever, except that Janners is taking them off the Dumpster's hands in order to free up some time for Alina, Kaiyu, and Maddy. So they'll burn here, totally out of respect for the Dumpster, and Janners will continue to pick up her flamingrighteousness!sword and fight the good fight. There are just so many badfics. You'll see this grade on a lot of said fics.

Zeeky Boogy Doog (ZBD for short.) This grade is equivalent to the Nuke grade on the Dumpster. It means H-Bomb time. This grade is reserved for the ones that made Janners cry. Or vomit. Or faint. Or all of the above.
